This gorgeous Jaguar XK150 Open Two Seater (OTS) was supplied by Jaguar Cars New York in 1959. It came over to the Netherlands in 2009 and is in fine condition. Just before it left America it underwent a full overhaul and restoration leaving it in the fine condition we currently see today. During the work they made use of the opportunity to upgrade the standard Jaguar XK 150 3.4 litre engine to “S” specifications. This Jaguar XK 150 has a brilliant “Seacrest Green” finish with a grey leather interior trim. The restoration was carried out to a high degree making the car a total pleasure to behold. The fine bodywork has nice and thin and correctly aligned panelwork. The quality of the paintwork carried out is very good and has only run up a few minor blemishes. The hood works and shuts well. The interior trim consists of grey leather upholstery with matching grey carpets. The door cards and the dashboard are also covered in the same grey leather. The light colours used make the inside space not only appears larger but it is also cooler in the summer compared to the use of darker materials. The Smith instruments and controls are all in good condition and working order. This Jaguar is not just stunning to look at, it is also a pure joy to drive. The engine has been fitted with “S” parts and still measures 3.4 litres. Use has been made of an original 3.4S cylinder head (with the correct cylinder head numbers) and 3 SU carburettors. The engine makes light works of the 1,346 Kg heavy Jaguar. The straight-six engine has a pleasing amount of fantastic sounding oomph. It has a manual 4-speed with overdrive. Long haul driving is as pleasing as tackling your favourite bendy mountain road. The brakes work very well and the suspension is just great. The car’s fantastic road manners make it ultimately suitable for day trips as well longer European travel. If after a long day at the wheel you take time to take in your surroundings, you will certainly be aware of one thing; They don’t make them like this anymore!

Gallery Aaldering is a family owned business since 1975. Founder Nico Aaldering and his son Nick are responsible for operational and executive management. The company has been in Brummen since 1987 and started on the location where they currently have their second workshop and detailing shop. Nico started very small, with only three employees. People who still work for the company today. The company grew rapidly and established a name for itself based on quality. In the nineties it was time for expansions after many years of selling Alfa Romeo, then Italian cars later on followed by British cars as well. At the end of 2000 Gallery Aaldering moved to the current premises at the Arnhemsestraat in Brummen. This showroom was build according to Nico's idea and sketches and has a Neoclassical style to match the classic cars inside. During this time Nick entered the company after finishing his studies and working for different automotive companies. Gallery Aaldering expanded and gained momentum with the decades of experience offered by Nico and the bright new ideas and progressive vision offered by Nick. The collection became more diverse with an important move upwards to higher segments. Gallery Aaldering has grown to become one of the largest classic car dealers in Europe. There are about 350 classic cars on display on four floors with a Grand Café and special rooms for business meetings. As a family owned business Gallery Aaldering is proud of its history and traditions, but the future is just as important. At the heart of this all is the passion for classic automobiles. For that reason they participate in the most impressive classic car rally in the world, the Mille Miglia. A deeply rooted love for cars. You will find this in both their genes and the identity of this family owned business.
