Copley Motorcars
Copley Motorcars was established by Stu Carpenter in 1995. Working for other luxury and sportscar dealers in Boston since 1986, Stu has gained a longterm-experience in offering exceptional products at a fair price making the acquisition of a classic and luxury car as easy and as enjoyable as possible. The team at Copley Motorcars has a particular affinity for vintage Mercedes Benz, Ferrari and Land Rover Defender but also other blue chips such as 289 Cobra, BMW Z8 and Porsche 959. Since the market for these cars is a worldwide one, Copley Motorcars ships worldwide and can easily assist with the logistical arrangements. December 2019 marked Copley’s 24th year of buying and selling sports and classics. Their showroom is located in the center of Needham, about 15 miles west of the City of Boston. Copley has an interesting, some would say eclectic, mix of classic cars always on offer and find something to love about each and every one. And because Copley Motorcars is a smallish “boutique” type dealer, their classic cars don’t necessarily run out the door. A new arrival could be there for a day, a week or even six months. That said, all of their classics are different one to the next and are being looked at throughout the USA and the world. If you see a car you like and want to buy it, please contact copleycars@gmail.com. If you see a car and want to think about it, terrific too. But please, please, please assume that someone else is looking at the very same classic you are interested in so, if it gets sold, they do their very best to find another for you.

Gallery Aaldering is a family owned business since 1975. Founder Nico Aaldering and his son Nick are responsible for operational and executive management. The company has been in Brummen since 1987 and started on the location where they currently have their second workshop and detailing shop. Nico started very small, with only three employees. People who still work for the company today. The company grew rapidly and established a name for itself based on quality. In the nineties it was time for expansions after many years of selling Alfa Romeo, then Italian cars later on followed by British cars as well. At the end of 2000 Gallery Aaldering moved to the current premises at the Arnhemsestraat in Brummen. This showroom was build according to Nico's idea and sketches and has a Neoclassical style to match the classic cars inside. During this time Nick entered the company after finishing his studies and working for different automotive companies. Gallery Aaldering expanded and gained momentum with the decades of experience offered by Nico and the bright new ideas and progressive vision offered by Nick. The collection became more diverse with an important move upwards to higher segments. Gallery Aaldering has grown to become one of the largest classic car dealers in Europe. There are about 350 classic cars on display on four floors with a Grand Café and special rooms for business meetings. KW
KW (Klassische Automobile GmbH & Co. KG) was established by Klaus Werner more than 40 years ago in Wuppertal, Germany. At this time the company was one of the first in Europe specialising in the sales of fine historic automobiles. At the beginning most of the cars being handled were interesting road going sportscars like a Jaguar E-Type, Shelby Cobra or Mercedes 300 SL. Over the years, the focus was extended with the sales of rare racing cars with important international race history from the 1930s to the 1970s. Although KW always preferred to keep the cars in their original state, some of them needed to be fully restored to original specification. Especially in the beginning of developing their business in the early 1980s, they owned several pre-war cars, that had not been used for some decades. With those projects they were able to establish a good relation to several of the best restoration workshops in the business and contribute to the preservation of automobile cultural assets by bringing those cars back to life. Most of the cars that KW handled over the years were built by the great and successful Italian manufacturers Alfa Romeo, Ferrari and Maserati – but they also were part time caretakers of other important cars like an Aston Martin DBR1, BMW V12 LM, Bugatti Type 57G, McLaren F1 GTR or Porsche 917. Amongst the cars sold are many Grand Prix, Le Mans and World Sportscar Championship winning chassis. Through the handling of this large spectrum, they were able to build up an extensive photographic and documentary archive and a vast knowledge. "Besides the sales business we have always focused on participating in historic race or concours events with our own original cars and by this, showing them in their natural environment to the passionate audience. In the 1980s and 1990s we have organised the Pre-War Sportscar Race at the Nurburging Oldtimer Grand Prix and still today compete in important events like the Le Mans Classic, Monaco Grand Prix Historique or Goodwood Revival." Since late 2015 Max and Moritz Werner, manage the business together with their father Klaus. In November 2020 the company moved to Gruenwald a small village south of Munich, which required Klaus and Max to resign as managing directors. Klaus ist still active as an independent advisor and specialist and Max is running his newly formed company Max Werner Invest GmbH.

Talacrest
Talacrest’s Chairman John Collins has had a life-long passion for Ferrari and used to run a Ferrari 246 Dino as his everyday road car as a photo journalist 38 years ago. Today his enthusiasm for Ferrari remains undiminished after selling approximately 1700 + classic Ferrari – and the thrill of conducting the next deal and helping collectors obtain their dream classic Ferrari is the driving force behind the company. The business was established in 1987 and has sold just about every classic Ferrari made – it would be easier to draw up a list of Ferrari NOT sold by Talacrest than those that they have sold. "You should bear in mind that with the volume of Ferrari that we have sold – sometimes we have sold an individual car many times over. A classic example being a Ferrari 275 GTB/2 6 carburettor alloy car that we have sold no less than 6 times!" Customers come back to Talacrest time and again – because buying or selling from the best is a straightforward process – and equally whatever cycle the market is in – the very best cars that we sell are always a good long term investment prospect, as well as an exciting ownership proposition.
Taylor And Crawley
Taylor and Crawley was founded in 1937 and sold Mercedes-Benz and Alfa Romeo cars from their Mayfair premises. After the war, they became the UK Mercedes-Benz importers and main agents before importing Maseratis and then becoming Alfa Romeo dealers. David Clark, already an established purveyor of sports and racing cars, was a friend of Michael Taylor and acquired the company in the 1980s when Michael retired. Since then the company has been prominent in the Historic car market, especially with competition cars.
