Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille 2026: The List Of Classes

On Sunday, September 13, 2026, the Domaine de Chantilly will host a new edition
of Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille and its Concours d’État. A true highlight of the event, this concours will bring together an exceptional selection of the world’s finest classic cars, divided into sixteen classes celebrating the history of the automobile, design excellence and mechanical heritage.

Since its creation in 2014, Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille has established itself as one of the most prestigious international events dedicated to classic cars. Each edition brings together collectors, manufacturers, enthusiasts and lovers of the art of living in the exceptional setting of the Domaine de Chantilly.

For the 2026 edition, the Concours d’État once again promises an exceptional line-up. Some of the rarest and most iconic cars will take their places on the lawns designed by Le Nôtre, where they will be judged by an international panel of specialists.

As every year, two prestigious ‘Best of Show’ awards will be presented: one for the finest pre-war car and another for the finest post-war car.

PRE-WAR COUPÉS
Talbot-Lago T150-C ‘Goutte d’Eau’ (1939)

A true icon of French automotive design, the Talbot-Lago T150-C ‘Goutte d’Eau’ is considered as one of the most beautiful cars ever designed. With bodywork by Figoni & Falaschi in the Art Deco style, it captivates with its aerodynamic lines of rare elegance. The example on display at Chantilly is the sole and final ‘New York’ model built in 1939 to have remained in France. Hidden from public view for many years before undergoing a meticulous restoration, it stands today as one of the finest achievements of French coachbuilding.

DELAHAYE IN ALL ITS FORMS

Delahaye 135 MS Cabriolet Vedette (1947)
A masterpiece by coachbuilder Henri Chapron, the Delahaye 135 MS Cabriolet Vedette perfectly embodies the post-war French refinement. This particular example was exhibited at the 1947 Paris Motor Show before being delivered to its first owner a few months later. Restored with the utmost care, this Delahaye remains one of the few known Vedette cabriolets, bearing witness to the craftsmanship of the great French coachbuilders.

TRIBUTE TO ERCOLE SPADA

Alfa Romeo SZ ‘Coda Tronca’ (1962)
Designed by Ercole Spada, the Giulietta SZ ‘Coda Tronca’ is one of the most iconic Alfa Romeo racing cars of the 1960s. Its distinctive truncated rear end, developed to improve aerodynamic performance, has become a landmark in the history of automotive design. The example on display boasts an impressive competition record, including appearances at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Tour de France Automobile in 1963.

  • TOUR DE FRANCE AUTOMOBILE’S ORIGINALS

Jaguar XK120 FHC Tour de France (1952)
Purchased new from the French importer Delecroix by Emilio Eminente, a former Bugatti driver in the 1930s, this Jaguar XK120 Fixed Head Coupé boasts a remarkable racing history. Entered in the 1953 Tour de France Automobile alongside Bianchi, it finished in an impressive 13th place overall before continuing its racing career at Montlhéry and then at the Rio de Janeiro Grand Prix in 1954.

• FRONT ENGINE FERRARI V12

Ferrari 212 Inter Coupé Speciale Ghia (1952)
A rare Ferrari styled by Carrozzeria Ghia, this Ferrari 212 Inter is one of the brand’s most elegant creations. Unveiled at the 1952 Paris Motor Show, it was acquired by the Argentine president Juan Perón, who made it one of his personal cars. Following an eventful history, it underwent a major restoration to its original condition and was crowned Best of Show at the Cavallino Classic 2024, before being showcased on the podium at Pebble Beach in 2024.

• 60TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE LAMBORGHINI MIURA

Lamborghini Miura P400 (1967)
Regarded as the first true supercar in history, the Lamborghini Miura continues to fascinate nearly sixty years after its debut. The car on display has a unique story: during its restoration, more than twenty layers of paint were discovered beneath its current finish. According to its owner, this Miura served as a testbed for Bertone and Lamborghini, who repainted it on numerous occasions to gauge the public’s reaction to dijerent colors.

• GT1: THE GOLDEN AGE OF GRAND TOURING

McLaren F1 GTR (1995)
Recognizable by its legendary yellow and green livery, this McLaren F1 GTR is one of the most iconic cars of the 1990s GT era. Entered by Mach One Racing, it finished third on the podium at the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans with Andy Wallace, Derek Bell and Justin Bell, before going on to enjoy a brilliant career in the BPR Global GT Series. Subsequently converted for road use while retaining its famous livery, this McLaren is now one of the most famous examples of the F1 GTR series.

  • A DAY OF ELEGANCE FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

Beyond its prestigious Concours d’État, Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille is, above all, a grand celebration of automobile and the French “Art de Vivre”. Designed as a family-friendly event, it ojers a day dedicated to elegance, where visitors of all ages can enjoy a rich program featuring exhibitions and a wide variety of activities. Visitors will also be able to enjoy the traditional Garden Party, the event’s true hallmark, which invites everyone to come and share a convivial moment in an exceptional setting.
