Some of the famous F1 drivers who raced March cars were Jackie Stewart, Chris Amon, Jo Siffert, Ronnie Peterson, Hans Stuck, Jochen Mass and Niki Lauda.

The March 821 was designed by Adrian Reynard, sponsored by Rothman’s and driven by Jochen Mass and Raul Boesel. Five chassis were built. It was campaigned in the 1982 Formula One season. Later it became the design basis for the successful March Indy car chassis that won five Indianapolis 500’s.
