Jaguar boss Williams presented a monumental 5.3-litre V12 at the 1971 New York Motor Show. This is the E-Type Series III, which was only available as a 2+2 Coupé and a Roadster. With power steering and optional automatic transmission, the up to 232 kW/315 SAE hp and amazingly quiet V12 was a gentleman racer compared to the tougher early E-Types.
This beautiful Jaguar E-Type Roadster was originally delivered to New York. The vehicle was extensively partially restored by the renowned specialist Noble House. The car has been technically optimised by installing a 5-speed gearbox (Tremec), a high-performance radiator and an electronic ignition system. According to available invoices, approx. 150.000,- € were invested in the vehicle. In addition to its fantastic colour combination, this roadster also impresses with its sensational driving characteristics. The car is in excellent condition. The original gearbox comes with the car. A German registration and a Jaguar Heritage Certificate are available.
