In 1999 the Porsche 996 GT-3 R was launched and updated in 2001 to become the 996 GT3-RS and then again in 2004 to become the 996 GT3-RSR. In total less then 200 cars were built over the 6 years period. It is one of the most successful GT cars ever built and has won its class in every event it was entered such as the 24hrs of Le Mans, 24hrs of Spa, 24hrs of Daytona, etc…

This car is a 2002 996 GT3-RS which had a fairly easy life and is 100% matching numbers engine, gearbox and original bodyshell, roll-cage, etc..

It was ordered directly from Weissach by Hermanns & Schmitz Automobile GmbH in Germany and delivered to privateer Richard Green (UK). It was barely used for trackdays only until being sold in 2004 to “A-Line Racing Team” based near the Nürburgring. They were planning to enter the car for the 24hrs of Le Mans but had to stop the project due to lack of finance.

The car was then sold to Belgian “Verbist Racing Team” and started its career in 2007 being entered in the Belcar racing series and driven by Belgian race driver Michel Pulinx culminating in a 3rd overall at the Zolder 24hr race in 2008.

The car was put aside for several years and then sold to a Belgian privateer who totally overhauled the car in 2016. The car then received its current iconic “Porsche GT3-RS” livery.

At the same time it received several RSR upgrades such as the 3.8 L engine, suspension, brakes, body parts, wheels, etc…

It has been successfully entered in 8 of the Peter Auto’s Endurance Racing Legend series between 2020-2022 (incl. Le Mans Classic 2022) and has had several victories and podiums in his class during that time.

It is very reliable and was maintained by Roitmayer Motorsport for the past 3 years were it never failed to finish.

With over thirty years of experience in classic motorsport, race preparation, trackside support, restoration, engine and drive train rebuilds Graber Sportgarage caters for a select clientele of classic sports car owners from around the globe. The origins of "Carrosserie Graber" date back to 1925 when Hermann Graber started as an independent coachbuilder in Wichtrach near Berne. In 1929 a Panhard-Levassor bodied by Graber won first place at the St. Moritz concours d`elegace, wich gave Graber well deserved and valuable publicity. In the 1930`s Graber became world famous for beautiful convertible & coupés designs and creations as well as for his perfect craftmanship. Until his passing in 1970 Hermann Graber had designed and built over 800 bodies on chassis ranging from Alvis, Aston Martin, Bentley, Bugatti, Duesenberg, Lagonda, Packard, Rolls-Royce to Rover and others. With Hermann Graber`s demise the coachbuilding activity was discontinued, but the mechanical workshop and body shop were carried on by his widow until 1980. From 1980 to 1996 the Graber company was one of a few hand-picked official Ferrari dealers in Switzerland. Futhermore the company was very active in the field of complete restorations of Italian and German sports cars. In 2001 Graber Sportgarage merged with "Oldtimer Reparatur AG" the workshop of Markus Scharnhorst and moved all activities to a bigger and more suitable location in Toffen, near Berne. The main workshop, the showroom as well the head offices are still located in Toffen until today. In 2014 the company opened a second showroom located in the shopping area in Lyssach near Burgdorf in order to get greater exposure of its classic cars it has on sale. In April 2019 the company is happy to have expanded into second, more modern workshop complete with offices and showroom in nearby Münsingen. The new branch will service and repair some of our customer`s classic race cars but will mainly focus on services, repairs and sales of Ferraris of the more recent eras.
