At Gallery Aaldering, they believe that a Porsche is more than just a car; it’s one of the most iconic automotive brands of all time. This 1981 Porsche 924 Carrera GTS Club Sport takes exclusivity to the next level. With only fifteen units ever built, it is one of the rarest Porsche’s ever produced. Finished in Indisch rot and with only 36,000 kilometers, this car is in exceptional condition and still retains its original paint. For collectors, this rare and iconic Porsche represents a dream come true and a fantastic investment opportunity.

Built for the Racetrack
The Club Sport, of which Porsche built only 15 examples, stands out with its fiberglass front fenders and widened rear wheel arches, making the model approximately 50 mm wider. This design allowed for broader Fuchs wheels, enhancing both its striking appearance and its track performance.

In line with Porsche’s racing intent, the Club Sport’s weight was drastically reduced to just 1,045 kg. This was achieved with fixed headlights under Perspex covers, aluminum trailing arms replacing steel ones, and lightweight plastic rear window and fixed side windows with sliding panels.

To further support its performance, Porsche equipped the Club Sport with Bilstein coil springs and powerful ventilated and perforated brakes sourced from the Porsche 911 Turbo. These upgrades make the Club Sport a technological marvel, delivering exceptional precision and control on both the track and the road.

A true homologation special, designed for Group 4 racing, this Porsche features an enlarged intercooler that produces 270 hp and reaches a top speed of 260 km/h. At its release, the Club Sport was the fastest production car Porsche had ever built. Accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.2 seconds and reaching 100 mph in 10 seconds, this machine’s capabilities speak for themselves.

The Legendary Porsche 924 Carrera GTS
Developed to meet FIA Group 4 requirements, the Porsche 924 Carrera GTS was designed to transform the 924 series into a genuine racing legend. It left a significant mark at the 1981 24 Hours of Le Mans, finishing in 6th, 12th, and 13th place. The Club Sport variant, with its additional power and exclusivity, has become a holy grail for collectors.

Only 36,000 Kilometers with Full Documentation
This Porsche has an exceptionally low mileage of just 36,000 kilometers, reflected in every detail of the car. It comes with an official Porsche Geburtsurkunde and original manuals, confirming its authenticity and rarity. Delivered in 1981 by Porsche Friedrich Scholz in Germany, its provenance is well-documented.

Collector’s Quality: Impeccable Condition
With its stunning original paint, this Porsche is a testament to quality. Entirely original and in immaculate condition, the exterior is a feast for the eyes. The interior is equally impressive, also entirely original and exceptionally well-preserved. Every detail, from the wheels to the smallest accents, underscores the excellence of this example. It drives like a dream, offering the lightweight performance, purity, and precision that define Porsche’s legendary reputation.

Gallery Aaldering is a family owned business since 1975. Founder Nico Aaldering and his son Nick are responsible for operational and executive management. The company has been in Brummen since 1987 and started on the location where they currently have their second workshop and detailing shop. Nico started very small, with only three employees. People who still work for the company today. The company grew rapidly and established a name for itself based on quality. In the nineties it was time for expansions after many years of selling Alfa Romeo, then Italian cars later on followed by British cars as well. At the end of 2000 Gallery Aaldering moved to the current premises at the Arnhemsestraat in Brummen. This showroom was build according to Nico's idea and sketches and has a Neoclassical style to match the classic cars inside. During this time Nick entered the company after finishing his studies and working for different automotive companies. Gallery Aaldering expanded and gained momentum with the decades of experience offered by Nico and the bright new ideas and progressive vision offered by Nick. The collection became more diverse with an important move upwards to higher segments. Gallery Aaldering has grown to become one of the largest classic car dealers in Europe. There are about 350 classic cars on display on four floors with a Grand Café and special rooms for business meetings. As a family owned business Gallery Aaldering is proud of its history and traditions, but the future is just as important. At the heart of this all is the passion for classic automobiles. For that reason they participate in the most impressive classic car rally in the world, the Mille Miglia. A deeply rooted love for cars. You will find this in both their genes and the identity of this family owned business.
