Ascott Collection is offering this beautiful Jaguar E-Type Series 1 – 3.8L Roadster for sale. Matching numbers & Matching colors. Original left hand drive. Swiss registration. Engine rebuilt in 2020. American provenance – Delivered in May 1962.

This first series Jaguar E-Type was built on May 16, 1962 and delivered on June 8, 1962 by the American Jaguar distributor in New York. As originally produced, this roadster is in Pearl grey, the interior is red and the top is black. In addition, it is matching numbers, engine and body.

This Jaguar is very pleasant to drive thanks to the addition of an electric power steering, a functional radio, a synchronised gearbox and a wide rim steering wheel which gives a better grip (the original steering wheel is available).

This E-Type is sold with its file including the latest invoices such as the engine rebuild dated June 2020 and its Jaguar Heritage Certificate.

Please note that this Jaguar has a Swiss registration. It is subject to a 6% tax if imported into France or 5% in the UK.
