Arriving at Binidufà feels instantly transporting. Set within a lush valley on a private estate deep in the Menorcan countryside, the hotel reveals itself slowly. As the road passes through one of the island’s traditional wooden gates, the arrival takes on an almost dreamlike quality.
Binidufà is the second Vestige Collection hotel to open on this family-owned estate in two years. While it shares a clear sense of identity with its sister property, it has a character entirely its own. With just 11 rooms spread across the grounds, the hotel offers an exceptional feeling of space, both indoors and out. Each room has a private terrace and a generously sized bathroom, creating an atmosphere of calm seclusion. Even at full capacity, Binidufà would feel remarkably private.
Guests are encouraged to move between the valley and the hilltop, where sister hotel Son Ermità sits like a crown above the estate. From there, the views stretch across land, sea, and an expansive sky that becomes especially impressive after dark.
At Binidufà, the restaurant Mesura focuses on plant-based cooking and local produce. Its creative vegetarian and vegan dishes, with the option to add fish or tofu, are designed for sharing and change with the seasons. The concept feels perfectly suited to the hotel’s fairytale setting. The pumpkin and beetroot dishes are particularly memorable — so much so that they are worth ordering more than once.
