The roadster was ordered as a stand-up car for the 1958 motor show in Amsterdam. Ex works the car was configured in DB396 medium blue metallic and yellow leather interior, additionally equipped with chrome wheels. An absolute rarity and only one of only six cars in this colour. The Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster was restored a few years ago and is in very good general condition. In 2017, a major maintenance with numerous wear parts was carried out at HK-ENGINEERING at a cost of approx. 50.000€. The Roadster has already been converted to the sought-after disc brakes and has matching numbers.
