Inspired by the racing victories from AC Cars’ formative years, the groundbreaking new AC Cobra GT Coupe adds motorsport-derived enhancements to develop a thoroughbred sports car like no other. As Britain’s oldest active vehicle manufacturer continues its modern revival, the fixed-roof Cobra marks an important new chapter in the brand’s history.

The first of a new breed
A groundbreaking new model from Britain’s oldest active vehicle manufacturer introduces something unique: the AC Cobra GT Coupe is the first ever production AC Cobra coupe.
Building on the platform introduced with the AC Cobra GT Roadster, the new coupe expands the model line while staying true to the unmistakable AC Cobra aesthetic. The result is a new interpretation of the marque’s heritage, shaped by both engineering ambition and racing pedigree.

A Fusion of Heritage, Innovation, and Exclusivity
Respecting the heritage of the Cobra legend, but challenging convention, the new AC Cobra GT Coupe represents a tour de force in both engineering and exclusivity.
Just 250 examples of this cutting-edge coupe are expected to be built for worldwide markets every year, underlining the model’s rarity and bespoke appeal. Each car reflects AC Cars’ continued commitment to craftsmanship, performance and individuality.
A race inspired AC Cobra Coupe for the open road
Undeniably a member of the AC Cobra GT family, the new coupe retains key touch points from the Roadster but takes inspiration from the infamous AC A98 Coupe Le Mans race car from 1964.

To honour this legacy, the limited AC Cobra GT Coupe Clubsport will represent the pinnacle of performance. With just 99 examples built and predominantly featuring a 799bhp V8 powertrain, it offers an experience that bridges road and circuit in equal measure.
Undeniably an AC Cobra
Retaining the iconic shoulder line, the new AC Cobra GT Coupe has an obvious connection to the brand’s current styling code, while introducing a Kammtail rear.
This distinctive design element improves aerodynamic efficiency without the need for an elongated longtail solution. Combined with the latest carbon fibre production techniques and a subtle double-bubble roof design, the GT Coupe remains faithful to its racing roots while creating a unique fixed-head silhouette.
Breathtaking and with an epic soundtrack
Developing up to 799bhp (810PS) and 575lb ft (800Nm), or 454bhp (460PS) in standard configuration, the supercharged GT Coupe is capable of sprinting from 0–60 mph in just 3.2 seconds.
Two gearboxes are available: a six-speed manual for purists or an advanced ten-speed automatic with steering-wheel-mounted shift paddles. A performance supercharger option will also be available, further enhancing the car’s already formidable credentials.

Technology
The new AC Cobra uses modern powertrain and control technology, custom engine management and electric power steering.
Drivers can choose between four vehicle modes and three steering modes, allowing the car’s character to shift from Street to Track and Race. A separate Wet mode helps limit wheelspin in difficult conditions, while a friction limited slip differential is fitted as standard.
Analogue dial
Secondary functions including HVAC, navigation, infotainment and smartphone integration are managed through a 10.25-inch touchscreen mounted below the main instrumentation.
The system combines contemporary functionality with the traditional analogue character of the cockpit, maintaining the balance between heritage and usability that defines the GT Coupe’s interior.
Brakes, wheels and tyres
In keeping with the rest of the car’s high-performance characteristics, the braking system has been developed specifically for each version.
Custom rims have been engineered exclusively for the GT Coupe, while Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres come as standard. For those seeking a more track-oriented experience, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres are available as an option.

Engineering
At the core of the AC Cobra GT Coupe is a highly advanced extruded aluminium monocoque chassis.
Extremely light and with exceptional torsional rigidity, the platform provides the structural basis for both current and future AC models. With a kerb weight under 1,450 kg, an extended wheelbase and optimised track width, the GT Coupe continues the performance legacy its forebears were famous for.
