Luminosa House By AMFB Architects

Tucked away in Brazil’s breathtaking Mantiqueira Mountains, the Luminosa House is a modern masterpiece crafted by architects Flavio Butti and Alice Martins. Overlooking a serene araucaria tree forest, this versatile 95 sqm residence serves as a guest house, home office, and personal retreat.

The sleek black polymer-cement facade harmonizes with its natural surroundings, while expansive glass walls invite the outdoors in. A 130 sqm rooftop solarium provides ample outdoor space, ideal for soaking in the region’s varied weather, whether it’s sunshine, fog, or rain. Inside, the home features warm, mountain-inspired touches such as wooden ceilings, brick flooring, and advanced heating systems for comfort.

Designed with sustainability at its core, Luminosa House incorporates locally sourced materials and makes efficient use of natural resources, blending effortlessly into its environment to offer a truly immersive experience in nature.
