This Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Coupé in silver combined with blue checkered cloth seats was delivered on November 23, 1955 to the Mercedes-Benz branch in London, England, and handed over to its first owner, an English lawyer, according to the present delivery papers. Even today, there is a unique image that shows the 300 SL Coupé over 60 years ago with the first license plate YPL 300 in the streets of England. Then the young Bernie Ecclestone bought the vehicle with his company Compton & Ecclestone. The car was technically completely restored by our company. The entire engine including injection pump and transmission, rear axle and brakes was overhauled. In addition, the frame has been completely repainted. Inside, we have renewed the seat cushions in the delivery combination.
The sky and the rest of the artificial leather interior are still in very well preserved original condition. In the trunk there is also still the original jack. A unique 300 SL coupe in technical top condition and with a lot of charm and optical patina.
