Island House is located on Lord Howe Island, a place of extraordinary natural beauty. They offer two houses for just 8 guests in a very private setting surrounded by a forest of Kentia palms and centuries-old Banyan trees.
Constructed of hardwood and copper with fully oak lined interiors the architect-designed houses are filled with books, art, authentic mid-century furniture, Cheminee fireplaces, copper baths and fully provisioned kitchens and bars. Spatially separated and screened to ensure privacy, the interiors are light-filled with high ceilings, fans, and extensive decks. The gardens provide generous lawn areas, shady palms, and a number of fruit trees and herbs.
Island House is ideal for whole site bookings. However, they do offer individual houses upon request. Each house has been designed with flexibility in mind so that it may be enjoyed by individuals, couples, small groups or families.
