Salon Privé has  confirmed that an extremely rare Ferrari 365 GTC/4 will make its Blenheim Palace debut this September as part of its Passione Ferrari Concours class.

One of just three examples originally finished in Verde Blenheim and believed to be the only car specified with a beige interior, the unique Ferrari combines exceptional rarity with a nod to the Oxfordshire home of the leading luxury automotive event. Originally registered in January 1972 and delivered the following month to its first owner, Baron Giovanni Silvestri, the car is one of the most distinctive examples of Ferrari’s rare grand tourer in existence. The Ferrari remained in Italy for more than four decades, passing through several owners before moving to Germany with its current custodian in June 2013. This appearance at Salon Privé 2026 marks the first time the car has been displayed at Blenheim Palace, creating a fitting connection between the venue and the distinctive Verde  Blenheim paintwork that it shares by name.

Produced between 1971 and 1972, the Ferrari 365 GTC/4 combined the performance credentials of Ferrari’s legendary Daytona with greater comfort and practicality for long distance touring. Just 505 examples were built, making it considerably rarer than its famous stablemate.

Powered by Ferrari’s celebrated 4.4-litre Colombo V12 engine producing 340bhp, the 365 GTC/4 was capable of reaching speeds of up to 163mph. Designed by Pininfarina, it features elegant styling, pop-up headlights and a more refined grand touring character, complete with power steering, air conditioning and occasional rear seating. The Ferrari GTC/4 will be in good company at Salon Privé 2026, as it joins an exceptional line-up of Concours entrants already confirmed including the unique 1952 Ferrari 212 CoupéSpeciale by Ghia, originally owned by Argentinian President Juan Perón, which will also compete in the Passione Ferrari Class. Alongside the Ferrari entries, a rare 1953 Bristol 404 Prototype, a 1963 Mercedes-Benz Roadster 300SL and meticulously restored 1982 Lamborghini Countach 5000S have also been announced as part of this year’s Concours field, which more exciting entries to be revealed soon.

Andrew Bagley, Chairman and co-founder of Salon Privé, said: “The Ferrari 365 GTC/4 is one of those cars that is often overshadowed by some of Ferrari’s more famous models, but those who know them appreciate just how special they are. “To find an example as rare and original as this is remarkable enough, but the fact it is finished in Verde Blenheim makes the Salon Privé Concours field at Blenheim Palace, the ideal stage for the 365, where its owners can showcase its rarity, provenance and fascinating history in equal measure.”

Now in its 21st year, Salon Privé returns to Blenheim Palace Wednesday 2 – Sunday 6 September with what promises to be its most exciting automotive experience yet, bringing together world-class classic cars, hypercars, luxury brands and hospitality across a five-day celebration of automotive excellence. Included in the five-day event, the Salon Privé Concours by Aviva Private Clients will showcase some of the rarest and most significant privately-owned vehicles from around the world, judged by an international panel of experts across a curated series of classes. The event will also feature Ladies’ Day by Boodles, Concours de Vente, the Club Trophy presented by Lockton, Supercar Sunday and Lifestyle Clubs Day, alongside luxury retail experiences and fine dining.
