This 136 page book is a collection of extraordinary photographs staged and captured by photographer Nick Clements and art director Julian Balme, taken over a number of years to promote world renowned classic car brokers Fiskens.
The period re-enactments are a celebration of the company’s London showroom and the motoring history of its location in the legendary Kensington mews. The images feature a wide range of amazing cars from pre-war Bentleys to 60s Le Mans veterans such as Ferrari P4 and Ford GT40s. Along with period dressed and accessorised models each photograph evokes a snapshot in time, recalling eras of when the cobbled backstreets were used for repairing vintage cars during the thirties or race preparing privately-entered sports prototypes in the sixties.
