History: Porsche first introduced the Speedster design in the mid 1950’s with production ending in the late 1950’s. This true roadster design with a raked front wind screen and low sleek body was a success. Today it is a true collector car. The Speedster model and design was first reintroduced in 1989. Incorporated in the popular 911 Series. Only 823 examples were produced for the USA market. It likewise soon became a true collector car. It revived Porsche’s original theme of sleek, lightweight, excellent handling, good power, fun to drive sports cars, in a limited production run.

This Example: Selling new at Bayside Porsche on Pike Street in Seattle, Washington in 1989. It was special ordered in “Ruby Red” to match the buyer’s 1958 Porsche 356A Speedster color. This bringing back that late 1950’s rich dark red color. In fact, it is the only USA delivered 911 Speedster in “Ruby Red”.

Condition: A stunning original paint, flawless example, always garage kept, serviced regularly and cared for by two meticulous owners. Only 22,146 documented miles from new. No accidents, no paint work, one of the finest examples one could hope to find.

Ownership: A documented two-owner car. The first owner from 1989 to 2001, and the second owner from 2000 to 2024.
