History: Shelby American records show delivery to Larsen Ford in White Plains, New York, on 7/19/65. White with blue stripes and Cragar wheels. Selling to several different documented owners over the years. It took part at SAAC 23 in July of 1998, winning 2nd place popular vote. Then in 2013, it is restored. Selling again to its present owner, who has had it for seven years. Ready to show or drive.
Condition: A fully restored car to the highest level by Orlando Mustang, where it underwent a complete bare shell restoration from A to Z. Beautiful panel fit and paint finish. Correct numbered Hipo Ford 289 V8 and aluminum Borg Warner T10 4-speed transmission. A late series 1965 with steel front hood; battery in engine compartment. Cragar wheels with Avon tires. A set of five Goodyear Blue Dot tires as spares.
The quality of the restoration is excellent, however the car has had some sheet metal replaced. The number on the block is matching the Ford Fender stamping, but it is believed that the engine number was restamped.
