This closed version of the 300 SLR was developed by Daimler-Benz for the 1956 season.

However, this 300 SLR Uhlenhaut-Coupé never came to racing, because the company stepped out of motorsports in 1955 after the end of the season. Instead, the 300 SLR Coupé was used by Rudolf Uhlenhaut, the head of the test department, as a company car. That’s why it’s nicknamed the Uhlenhaut coupe. Capacity: 2982 cc / Power: 302 hp / Top speed: 290 km/h / Only 2 Produced
