1987 Ferrari 412 By Albion Motorcars

The Ferrari 412 was the last version of the elegant Pininfarina designed four seater coupé with prancing horse on the bonnet – in production from the early seventies unitl the end of the eighties.

Introduced in 1972 as 365 GT 2+2, this grand tourer evolved into the 400 and finally 412, which was produced until 1989 bringing to an end Ferrari’s longest ever production series. The 412 was the most sophisticated and luxurious model with a 5,0 litre V12 engine producing 340 bhp. Ferrari made 576 examples of the 412, which makes it quite a rare car.

This example was delivered new in France by Ch.Pozzi to its first owner. It came to Denmark in 1993 and remained in the collection of the Danish Ferrari importer for many years until 2006. Then it was purchased by the actual owner, a devoted Ferrari enthusiast, who kept the car in immaculate condition. It must be one of the best examples in the world, with an incredibly glossy paint and a lovely interior. Every single thing works on this car like it was new, which is rather unusual. The engine and gearbox are fantastic and driving this big Ferrari is only a confirmation that the automatic gearbox is the best match for the sweet V12 engine. I have not driven any car with classic car status which is so easy and comfortable to live with, and the Pininfarina styled lines aged so well that you can’t believe that this 412 is 30 years old now.

A 412 is in fact still a bargain in the Ferrari market. It was once the most expensive car in the model range, and it has a fantastic V12 engine with a magnificent interior fully trimmed in soft Connolly Vaumol leather. A Ferrari 412 is a real class act, and this example is finished in one of the most gorgeous colour combinations (Nero Metallizzato with Crema leather). If you are in the market for an exquisite Ferrari 4-seater, then you should book your testdrive now and get seduced by this desirable grand tourer.
