Porsche has built a solid reputation for its exceptional performance on the roads, while Frauscher, an Austrian shipbuilder, is renowned for its high-speed watercraft. These two esteemed companies have joined forces to collaborate on an extraordinary project called the 850 Fantom Air Speedboat.
With a length of approximately 30 feet, this boat draws inspiration from Frauscher’s existing 858 Fantom Air model but incorporates Porsche’s cutting-edge Premium Platform Electric, which will also serve as the foundation for upcoming models such as the electric Macan. Notable specifications include a 100 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, a high-performance permanently excited synchronous electric motor, and rapid 800-volt DC charging capabilities.

Accommodating up to nine passengers, the craft boasts a swimming platform, a comfortable lounge area, two bimini tops to provide shade, a refrigerator, an exceptional premium sound system, as well as exquisitely designed Porsche seats and upholstery. Pre-orders are currently being accepted, with the initial batch of 25 boats scheduled for delivery in 2024.
