The primary task in the design of AVIAR R67 is its operation safety! AVIAR R67 electric car is made on the basis of Tesla Model S automobile. AVIAR R67 project uses a battery, electric motors, gearboxes, suspension elements, power cables, electronics manufactured by Tesla. The power part of the body is designed and made of composite materials. This has reduced the weight of the car and increased the rigidity of the body.
Composite elements of the body frame are mounted on aluminum elements of the battery mounting and Tesla Model S side members. This solution allowed maintaining high-strength architecture with an outdoor battery pack that provides incredible protection against impact.
To increase passive safety, Tesla Model S front/rear sub frame attachment with side members, engine shield and front pillars were left unchanged. Due to changes in the layout, the middle rack had to be shifted to the rear axle by 335 mm. The new composite engine shield was shifted into the interior 200 mm.
