In 1955, Mercedes-Benz introduced the 190SL, an affordable two-seater convertible that was heavily inspired by the iconic 300SL in its design. This beautiful classic, equipped with a 1,897-cc four-cylinder engine and a manual four-speed gearbox, offers a unique driving experience. Unlike the 300SL, the 190SL uses a shortened chassis from the W121 sedan.

This 190SL is truly in excellent condition thanks to a complete ‘nut and bolt’ restoration. The bodywork is sleek and clean, with excellent alignment of the hinged parts. The seams between the sheet metal parts are also beautifully finished. The restoration is extensively documented, showing that the bodywork, interior, and technical aspects have been fully and expertly restored/revised. The chrome work, for example, is in new condition and stands out beautifully against the dark gray paint.

The interior of this Mercedes-Benz 190SL is breathtakingly beautiful and executed in a lovely color scheme. The dashboard, for example, has beautiful gauges that are in excellent condition. The brown leather complements well with the interior, including the stylish dashboard, door panels, and seats. The interior is also completely renewed, including the leather upholstery and all the carpets, all done with care. The beautiful steering wheel and gear knob contrast nicely with the brown leather and the dark gray paint. The interior therefore exudes absolute class, just as you would expect from a Mercedes-Benz.

Under the hood, it continues, as the whole engine bay looks fantastic. This is not surprising since the car has hardly been driven since the restoration and overhaul work. The four-cylinder engine has been completely overhauled and runs beautifully.
This Mercedes-Benz 190SL is a fantastic example, restored and revised to a high standard with a naturally stylish appearance, perfect for the true classic car enthusiast. The complete restoration ensures that this car is in absolute top condition, both optically and technically. This is a unique opportunity to own a piece of automotive history.

Gallery Aaldering is a family owned business since 1975. Founder Nico Aaldering and his son Nick are responsible for operational and executive management. The company has been in Brummen since 1987 and started on the location where they currently have their second workshop and detailing shop. Nico started very small, with only three employees. People who still work for the company today. The company grew rapidly and established a name for itself based on quality. In the nineties it was time for expansions after many years of selling Alfa Romeo, then Italian cars later on followed by British cars as well. At the end of 2000 Gallery Aaldering moved to the current premises at the Arnhemsestraat in Brummen. This showroom was build according to Nico's idea and sketches and has a Neoclassical style to match the classic cars inside. During this time Nick entered the company after finishing his studies and working for different automotive companies. Gallery Aaldering expanded and gained momentum with the decades of experience offered by Nico and the bright new ideas and progressive vision offered by Nick. The collection became more diverse with an important move upwards to higher segments. Gallery Aaldering has grown to become one of the largest classic car dealers in Europe. There are about 350 classic cars on display on four floors with a Grand Café and special rooms for business meetings. As a family owned business Gallery Aaldering is proud of its history and traditions, but the future is just as important. At the heart of this all is the passion for classic automobiles. For that reason they participate in the most impressive classic car rally in the world, the Mille Miglia. A deeply rooted love for cars. You will find this in both their genes and the identity of this family owned business.
