From 1925 to 1953, Alfa Romeo produced the 6C model series. From an initial 1.5 litre capacity, this was increased to 2.5 litres by the end of production. Most of the bodies of the 6C series were coachbuilt by the Ateliers Touring. Only a few cars received bodies from Pinin Farina.

After the war only 63 2500 SS short wheelbase convertibles were produced.

This Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 SS was delivered to Venice in 1949. It still has its original engine (“Matching-Numbers”). The restoration of this rare Alfa Romeo has recently been completed. The history of the car is very well documented.
