In 1963, Porsche introduced the very first 911, a sports car that became a global icon of style and innovation. Meanwhile, in Southern California, surfing was exploding in popularity.
Driving a classic Porsche 911 on the open road and riding a single fin surfboard on the ocean share a timeless appeal and unique fascination. They demand focus and reward patience. The collaboration between Porsche and Almond Surfboards celebrates the heritage of both crafts – with a touch of salty air.
A Collaboration Born In California
Founded in 2007 and based in Southern California, Almond Surfboards has become synonymous with bespoke surfboards. Each Porsche x Almond board is custom-made and individually numbered.
Porsche fans and surf aficionados can choose between the “Surf Thumps” longboard (9’ 11”) or mid-sized “Cash-Yew” glider (7’ 10”) and select from four board designs: three iconic 1960’s Porsche 911 paint colors – Irish Green, Polo Red, Bahama Yellow, or one of the most famous Porsche racing liveries from 1971 the “Pink Pig.” And to make each board their very own, customers can select their favorite racing number.
Strictly limited to 200 surfboards, each hand-made in California and provided with a certificate of authenticity and beautiful wooden wall bracket.
