There are times in life when you stand in front of something and you instandly recognize its sheer beauty. These moments are taking your breath away and make you smile.
The 330 GTC is without doubt one of the prettiest and best driving Ferraris ever built. There is a strong fascination on the elegance and wonderful proportions of this masterpiece from Pininfarina.
It’s a classic Ferrari for the road. Only 600 GTCs were made and the 330 GTC was a more luxurious alternative to the 275 GTB and took styling cues from Ferraris flagship, the 500 Superfast.
It could reach 60 miles per hour in 6.5 seconds and had a top speed of 150 miles per hour. Borrani wire wheels and the air condition of this matching numbers icon were offered as options.
This car with the chassis number “10725” from 1967 must be one of the finest and most original in existence. It had been originally delivered in Italy and very little is known about the early history. It’s in the “Azzuro” blue colour merged with a “Pelle Nera” black leather interior. Originally it was delivered in Grigio Argento Metallizzato . It retains the original interior, which had been colored from Pelle Blu Scuro in the original delivery. It was shown in 1993 at the Ferrari Concours D’Elegance in Wiesbaden , where it received a class winner trophy. To win this prize it had been obviously beautifully restored in the late eighties. In this time the engine had been completely rebuilt by one of the best Ferrari specialized workshops: Modena Motorsport in Langenfeld/Germany. Nearly 15 years its now in the garage of a well known classic car collector. It has the original birth certification of Ferrari and it’s confirmed that the GTC still has original matching engine and gearbox. Today it’s still in a very nice condition with a beautiful original dashboard, very nice chrome and paint job.
The next enthusiast owner of this beautiful 330 GTC will get a piece of art, which runs and drives as it should. The engine has lots of torque and accelerates tremendously , the gearbox does not have any synchro problems or any vibration coming from the drive train. Honestly we can not imagine a better driving Ferrari 330 GTC. And it has tool kits and other equipment from the time when it was first delivered.
Having all this in mind , it is not surprising why most of the Ferrari collectors are keen to have one of these beauties in their garage.
