For the last few years I have followed up the frenetic activity at the Silverstone Festival (formally known as the Silverstone Classic) with a relaxing day taking photographs at a small sprint track near Birmingham known as Curborough.
Each August Bank Holiday the track hosts a Charity Day organised by VSCC stalwarts, David and Lucy Leigh. It is an untimed event, so helmets are not mandatory. This provides a chance to really see the pleasure ( and sometimes fear) on the faces of drivers and passengers.
There is always an eclectic, and often whacky selection of cars on show.
Photo driving styles range from relatively sedate to quite spirited.
Sizes ranged from small to large
And as well as 4 wheelers, motor cycles and tricycles were on the track.
Regardless of what or how they were driving everyone seemed to be having a happy time.
