In total, no less than nine 300SL vehicles took part, most of them flown in from Germany. The 4-day program offered the participants a number of highlights that left nothing to be desired. One special moment was the presentation of the vehicles right by the sea in the exclusive Shangri-La Al Husn Hotel, where high-ranking personalities from politics and business were in attendance. Other unforgettable experiences followed, including a stop at a 5-star hotel, the Alila, which is located on the highest rock in the region, an overnight stay in a desert camp and the final event in Muscat, which took place in a historic setting.

It was the first event of its kind for the Sultanate of Oman, and both the organizers and the participants were extremely satisfied. “The country surprised us not only with its impressive beauty, but also with the hospitality and enthusiasm it shows for events like this,” said an enthusiastic participant. The rally was made possible by the joint efforts of HK-Engineering and the local team of Zainab Al Mamari and Manuel Kiefer. All 300SLs reached the finish line safely – a good proof of the quality of the vehicles and the professional support provided by HK-Engineering.
