It’s always an exciting moment when Formula 1 teams announce the presence at the Goodwood motorsport events, and this year will be a grand total of six F1 teams in attendance at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard, with 49 constructors’ World Championships between them.
The F1 cars will once again be among the highlights of the Festival of Speed weekend, and they’ll be hosted as usual inside the F1 Pit Lane presented by Sky.
The 2024 Festival of Speed takes place one week after the British Grand Prix, and Red Bull, Ferrari, Mercedes, McLaren, Williams, and Alpine will all be making the journey to Goodwood for the weekend.
Williams will be bringing its two current F1 drivers, Alex Albon and Logan Sargeant, alongside Williams F1 Academy driver Lia Block. All three of them will be getting behind the wheel of the 1982 world championship-winning Williams FW08 for runs up the Hill across the weekend alongside team boss James Vowles.
Red Bull has also confirmed its attendance at this years’ Festival of Speed. The RB17 will make its global debut, but Red Bull F1 drivers past and present will also be here at Goodwood for a large-scale celebration of Red Bull in motorsport.
Further announcements about the Festival of Speed’s F1 attractions this year will be made in due course, with more cars and drivers expected to be confirmed in the build up to the event.
Only Thursday general admission tickets remain, with Friday, Saturday, and Sunday tickets now sold out, although a limited number of hospitality packages for all days are still available. Tickets and packages can be purchased from £70.
