From June 3 to 8, 2023, the Rallye des Princesses Richard Mille will take its 100% female crews on a 1,600 km journey to discover the most beautiful roads in France, towards the French Riviera, the Sun and the Sea. 2023 will mark the first 100% by Peter Auto edition with an original route, hotels, lunch and dinner venues that are ever more upmarket and incredible.
The French Riviera will be reached at the end of a route that will test the driving and co-driving skills of each competitor, as it will involve a crossing of the most beautiful Alpine mountains! The start will be launched, as always, from the superb Place Vendôme, in the direction of Beaune, then the crews will head for Megève, l’Alpe d’Huez, les Baux de Provence to finish their route in Nice.

Details on the 22nd edition’s stopping off points
Place Vendôme (Paris): The start will be launched from the prestigious Place Vendôme in the early hours of Sunday 4 June in a Paris still asleep. The day before, drivers and co-drivers will finalise their preparations with the technical and administrative checks. For this occasion, they will receive the roadbook but also some reminders on the regulations or the use of the Tripy (timing device) without forgetting some gifts from the partners. Car enthusiasts, young and old alike, will be able to admire the competitors’ classic cars all day long. A creative and refined cocktail reception will be organised for the competitors at the Pavillon Vendôme.
Beaune: Leaving at dawn on Sunday 4 June, they will reach Beaune, capital of Burgundy wines, in the evening. A first day to get used to the navigation with the reading of the roadbook and the indications given by the co-pilot as well as the use of the measuring tools. Regularity first!
Megève: On Monday 5 June, the competitors will leave Beaune to head for famous ski resort Megève. Small mountain roads await the Princesses, concentration and sporting challenge will be on this second day’s agenda.
Alpe d’Huez: For this 3rd leg, it won’t be necessary to wear skis to brave the kilometres between Megève and l’Alpe d’Huez. This Tuesday, June 6th, it is a route between mountains and plains that awaits our 100% female crews. They will finish with the RD211 road, and its famous 21 bends climb which will allow the teams to test their qualities as drivers and co-drivers.
Les Baux de Provence: Elle descend de la montagne à cheval… sang French famous singer Hugues Aufray. Horses yes, but only under the bonnet will be necessary to cover the distance from l’Alpe d’Huez to the small, picturesque village of Les Baux de Provence. Located on a rocky plateau, Les Baux de Provence village overlooks exceptional landscapes discovering Arles, the Camargue and the Alpilles. In fact, at the end of this 4th stage, the competitors will have had their fill of breathtaking panoramas.
Nice: Thursday 8 June marks the final stretch to cross the finishing line after a route of more than 1,600 km through the most beautiful roads in France. For this final leg, the French Riviera and Nice, built between sea and mountains, around one of the most beautiful bays in the world. Young and old alike will be able to admire the cars of our competitors on display in the Place Masséna’s magnificent gardens.
A gourmet and picturesque route
The festivities will begin with a cocktail reception at the Pavillon Vendôme in the most beautiful setting the capital has to offer, the Place Vendôme.
In addition to offering crews the opportunity to discover the cultures and landscapes of the regions they will be crossing, the route will give each participant the chance to have lunch in exceptional places, such as the Royal Monastery of Brou or the Château de Touvet and many others.
A series of warm dinners in exceptional restaurants will be held at the end of the different legs of the rally, such as the Hospices de Beaune, or the Carrières des Lumières… a mouth-watering programme! Last but not least, the Princesses will finish this sporting escapade with a starry dinner on the beach.
What about accommodation? Warm, refined and authentic… During some of the legs, 5***** hotels will open their doors. Hotels such as Les Fermes de Marie, Baumanière, Le Domaine de Manville, the Anantara… enchanting and bucolic places, will be the best remedy for the fatigue of our participants!
