Porsche 356 pre-A Speedster 1955
Matching Numbers, Highly Original, Great history (File)
It must have been a very special day in 1956 the new owner picked up his 1955 built 356 pre-A Speedster at Carton Motors in Pomona, California. Was this a totally new 356? Not really, as the odometer stood at 180 miles. How come you ask? The story goes that the first owner managed to loose the car in a bet whilst still on its first tank of fuel in the summer of 1956 to its second owner. The owner, Jay Greer, kept the car for another 16 years. It was not his first choice either, but delivery times for a black 356 were so long that he decided to go with this cream-white (code603) Porsche. In 1958 he decided to convert this car to his fulfil his big dream: a black Speedster. The car is then completely dismantled, right down to the last screw, including the wiring, suspension and anything else you care to name.

Mercedes-Benz AMG GT R 4.0 V8 585 pk (2018)
Green Hell Magno, Ceramic Brakes, Carbon Pack
Mercedes-Benz has hit the bull’s eye with the AMG GT. When the GT appears on the market, almost everyone, whether or not a Mercedes-Benz fan, is pleased with the timelessly designed coupe without unnecessary kinks or folds in the design. Timeless. Sales start and several variants appear. Starting with the ‘normal’ GT it runs via the GT S and GT C to the top of the series, the GT R. And that’s exactly the one that Gallery Aaldering has in Brummen, also in the best colour available!
Hell Grun Magno, named after the Green Hell, as the Nürburgring is known. This colour was only available on the e AMG GT R, which lapped the world-famous circuit in just 7:10.92. The matt frog green, an option of more than eight thousand euros, looks fantastic on the car and can be considered the best colour for an R. The first owner of this GT R also ticked some very popular options, such as the AMG Carbon Exterior Package and the AMG Track Pack, which consists of deep bucket seats. To complete all these track-worthy options, ceramic brakes were also chosen.

American LaFrance Type 75 (1922)
Truly unique, Completely restored, Great piece of history
This unique car is exactly 100, yes, hundred years old. America LaFrance Fire Engine Company was founded in 1903 as a maker of firetrucks and related vehicles, with roots going back to the early 1800s. A handful of passenger cars were built between 1910 and 1920, none of which are estimated to exist. Some firetrucks were also converted into passenger cars. And you can see such a special car here.
The huge giant listens to the type designation ‘Type 75’ and dates from 1922 and therefore celebrates its hundredth birthday this year. A fantastic piece of history that goes beyond just ‘a classic car’. The car is a conversion of a Type 40 Triple to the aforementioned Type 75. Under the hoods that opens on both sides, a gigantic 900 cubic inch (14,500 cc) six-cylinder with a T Head, which means that the valves are on the outside. The hundred-year-old America LaFrance has double ignition, ignition coil and a high voltage magneto. So two spark plugs per cylinder, everything for reliability. The colossal engine sends the power, around 100 horsepower, to the rear wheels through an unsynchronised three-speed gearbox, via a full bronze differential and steel chains. You want to get the pace out of the 3,183 kilogram four-seater again? This is possible with non-assisted brakes on the rear wheels only. A fantastic piece of automotive history.

Jaguar XJS 4.0 Insignia. Only 32000 Km’s! (1994)
Top original quality, As new, From second owner
Midway through 1975 the successor to the E-type, the XJ-S, was unveiled to the waiting international press. Critics at the time did not feel this was a worthy successor to the E-type; however the very streamlined coupé managed to be in production for more than the next 20 years before itself was succeeded in 1996 by the stretched 2+2 GT. One thing everybody agreed upon was the car’s fabulous roadholding, applauding its high-speed cornering capability.
Over the years two big modifications were made to the XJ-S. Outwardly not much appeared to have changed with the first update in 1981, in 1991 the car was ready for a new decennial. The name badge became XJS instead of XJ-S. The car lines were smoother, the bumpers larger, rounder and colour-coded and the taillights were now flatter and wide. The ‘flying buttresses’ that characterise the splendid receding roofline with the concave rear window remained in a more tempered form. Its character did not change, which may explain why these XJ-S and XJS’s are quickly gaining in popularity, with the third series possibly being the best of the bunch.

BMW 3.0 CSI Manual gearbox (1973)
Stunning restored condition, Drives fantastic
The learned gents are not quite agreed but it is self evident this is one of the most gorgeous BMW’s ever. The Karmann built slim BMW E9 coupé is a feast for the eye. That is just the start. If you agree with us the BMW E9 CSI is in all manner a treat, you cannot miss this sportive top version 3 litre straight-six manual.
The BMS CS came with a choice of different engines. To create the top of the range model the 2800 CS’s 2.8 litre engine was taken and enlarged to 2,986 cc with Bosch D-jetronic fuel injection. It gave the car 200 hp which in 1973 was in the realms of sports cars. You could compare it with latter-day offerings from BMW’s M division. The icing on the cake must be the manual transmission. ‘Freude am Fahren’ is never more apt.
This 3.0 CSI has been restored and mechanically rebuilt form A to Z. Not a quick once over but done with care, attention and the right budget. The literally and figuratively brilliant Granatrot Metallic finish is truly ‘fabelhaftig’. The meticulous restoration has meant the brightwork, plastic parts, wheels and windows are all in exceptionally wonderful condition.

Porsche 964 Cabriolet Police (1993)
Perfect 911, With all attributes, Unique
Every story attached to the advertised cars and are read many thousands of times. Gallery Aaldering can therefore take it as almost read there are people amongst the readers of this text who in the ‘90’s were stopped in Holland by this exact “Korps Rijkspolitie” (state police) Porsche 911. This 964 was taken into service in 1993 by the Dutch police and clocked up no less than 103,000 km in its first year. In those days you would be inclined to drive just that little bit over the limit in order to be pulled to one side by this Porsche.
Porsche and the Rijkspolitie go back to 1962. It was the starting point for the collaboration allowing these gents to speed over the Dutch motorways in their stunning 356’s. It was an era that road traffic deaths started to mount up, necessitating setting up a special unit. The Porsches were a hit and various models passed through their hands. First there was the 356, then the 912, which the gents thought was to slow. The 912 therefore was exchanged for the 911’s. The first models were taken into service in the mid sixties and continued for some thirty years until in 1996 their collaboration ended.

Porsche 356 B 90 Coupé (1963)
Great drivers condition, Previously restored
The Porsche 356 has steadily become more valued and more often has stepped from behind its legendary younger brother’s shadow. Whereas early A-series 356’s tend to end up in collections, later 356’s often enjoy a more active lifestyle. Many of these 356’s are used as they were originally intended for; regular sportive engagement. Sportive events are simply magic with this ‘Matching Numbers’ 356 B Coupé. As it has already been restored, that particular worry has been taken out of your hands. It means you can fully enjoy this classic Porsche.
The restored bodywork is in excellent shape. The car is accident free with only a few blemishes here and there if you look very closely. The overall condition is classified as being ‘very fine’. Due to the expert restoration the panelwork all aligns and the joins and paintwork are pinpoint. As the photos show the sills and underside are also very neat. The red stripe body markings are stickers and can easily be removed if so wished. The interior too is very neat with black upholstery and a wooden steering wheel. The dashboard has the obligatory colour-coding with the wheel having developed a fine patina. Everything is in good working order, again saving you worry and allowing you to fully enjoy your ownership

Porsche 911 3.0 SC Targa (1981)
Low Mileage, Great condition, Known service history
The Porsche 911 definitely does not need any introduction. World famous for tens of years. Since its 1964 inception it has been an unforgettable part of automotive history as well as a poster hanging on many a young boys bedroom wall, a boyhood dream to one day own a 911. Following the small bumpered original in 1974 the series two with wider American spec bumpers came along. Favoured during its run from 1974 to 1988 for its fuel-injection, rust prevention and powerful engines.
Gallery Aaldering is showing the 911 SC. According to Porsche aficionados SC is short for Super Carrera. Beneath the engine hood Gallery Aaldering find a new 3.0 Boxer engine initially producing 180 hp, increased to 204 hp in 1981. The aluminium power plant was very reliable explaining why ‘80’s Porsches are so popular. Bosch installed a K-Jetronic fuel-injection and shifting gear was now down to the new 915 transmission.
