The Modena Cento Ore has designed an exhilarating coast-to-coast route for 2022, complete with three challenging races on the track and around ten special stages.
2nd – 7th October 2022: These are the dates of the coming edition of the Modena Cento Ore.
As always, it will be a perfect combination of wonderful cars, gentlemen drivers, competition, tourism, exhilarating roads, breath-taking scenery, fine food and wine, and relaxation. An exciting journey taking a coast-to-coast route with around ten special uphill stages on roads closed to normal traffic and 3 races on the legendary circuits of Imola, Misano and Mugello. An experience complemented by superb hospitality and unique evening events held in exclusive locations.
The Route for 2022
The route will cross Italy from east to west with non-stop spectacular stages that the public can also come and watch along the way.
After the scrutineering and the cars have been on public display at Milano Marittima on October 2nd, the crews will set off on the morning of Wednesday October 3rd and drive to Autodromo Enzo and Dino Ferrari in Imola for this edition’s first race on the racetrack. The route then crosses the regions of Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany, with two special stages in the hills above Bologna.
The second leg will get off to a start on October 4th with a thrilling race at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli. After lunch, the crews will face the challenge of two special stages in the Apennines.
On Wednesday October 5th, the third leg will commence with two special stages held in the wonderful surroundings of the hills above Florence, concluding with the legendary and always exciting race at the Mugello Circuit. The evening event will take place in the Renaissance heart of Florence.
During the fourth and final leg, the crews will compete in the last three special stages in the heart of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines. As per tradition, the race will come to a close in Modena city centre, the heart of the Motor Valley.
An overview of the Modena Cento Ore
The Modena Cento Ore is still the only rally in Italy, and one of the few in the world, where the drivers get to challenge one another both on the racetrack and on special stages held on public roads: a winning combination of a rally and speed on the racetrack, made even more exciting by the starting grid at the departure.
Competition and Regularity: two different experiences taking the same route and following the same programme so the participants can enjoy their passion for motor sport in the manner they like best: the adrenaline boost of driving at top speed or the more relaxed approach of the regularity race, with timed laps on the track and average speed trials held on roads closed to traffic, designed for those who prefer to savour the pleasure of the journey.
The crews will enjoy four days of driving along the most beautiful roads in Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany and Marche. A coast to coast, stopping off at Milano Marittima, Florence and Modena.
