Today, Ferrari seems to carefully maintain its panache with its vehicles’ small production numbers and passionate, dedicated circle of clients, but even more coveted and prestigious among collectors are Ferrari’s legacy of classics, a legacy that was stunningly showcased in Ferrari’s own birthplace of Modena, Italy, at the Cavallino Classic Modena 2025 event that just concluded as a massive success.

Dedicated to celebrating the undeniable heritage and splendor of Ferrari’s massive repertoire of cars, Cavallino Classic brings some of the greatest Ferraris in the world together, this time in Ferrari’s hometown for an extra-special gathering. Both the people and the cars in attendance made the Cavallino Modena 2025 an especially noteworthy event, including Piero Ferrari, the company’s vice president, Enzo Mattioli Ferrari, the great-grandson of Ferrari’s legendary founder, and some of the greatest classic cars to wear the Prancing Horse.
The event was graced with the backdrop of the stunning Casa Maria Luigia, along with music from the Alessandro Ristori band, food from Massimo Bottura, a gala dinner from the three-Michelin-starred Osteria Francescana, and a parade through Modena’s city streets. Partners like RM Sotheby’s, Riva, Bang & Olufsen, Moët & Chandon, and more brought added luxury and fanfare to the gathering.
Highlights among the many award-winning cars present at the event included a 1954 Ferrari 250 Monza #0442M by Giuseppe Prevosti, a shining symbol of Ferrari’s ‘50s racing success that won Best of Show Competition, a 1960 Ferrari 250 GT Pinin Farina Cabriolet, chassis #2381 in Abete Metallizzato with a beige leather interior that won Best of Show Gran Turismo, and a 1966 275 GTB4 #09021 “long nose” that won Best of Show Ferrari Classiche Certified.
In addition, a total of 26 cars won Platinum Awards at the show, meaning they scored over 97 out of 100 in the Jury’s evaluation of them. The incredible amount of Platinum Awards presented at this year’s Cavallino Classic Modena highlights the incredibly high caliber of Ferrari excellence that gathered at the event, with vehicles winning Platinum Awards ranging from a 1951 212 Export Vignale to a 2013 458 GTE. With stunning classics and youngtimers, much of Ferrari’s nearly 80 years of automotive excellence were celebrated in its beautiful hometown of Modena, at one of the most successful Cavallino Classic events yet.
