It’s an incredible car, which debuted in 1965 and immediately won the Monza 1000km and the Nürburgring 1000km. Its 1570cc inline-four engine was mated to a 5-speed transmission; the tubular steel trellis chassis was incredibly light, and the body was entirely made of fiberglass, for a total weight of 620kg.
It could reach 245km/h and its sound was divine...a song that, between one curve and the next, fills those who see and hear it with the next, fills those who see and hear it with emotion...

Principal photography began in February 2010, leveraging the resources and filming infrastructure available in Atlanta for the R-rated comedy. This choice marked a shift from their typical setting of Providence, Rhode Island, but the directors ensured the final look and feel of the suburban environment still fit the film’s premise.

Some incredible footage that was captured for the 1971 movie ‘Le Mans’ starring Steve McQueen. For several onboard shots, a Porsche 908 K Flunder Spyder was used and converted into a camera carrier with three cameras, one in front and two at the back above the gearbox. A fantastic effort to capture one of the most legendary motorsport movies of all time.
