Broad Arrow Auctions is celebrating the success of the Global Icons: Online, the multi-location online auction series, which attracted over 800 registered bidders from 35 countries, generating more than €18.3 million in total sales with 90 percent of all lots sold.
Leading results was one of the most significant race cars in Formula One history—Michael Schumacher’s 1992 Benetton B192-05, which achieved an outstanding €5.082.000. Never before offered publicly, the car represents the singular moment where greatness began, carrying the renowned driver to his maiden Formula One victory at Spa-Francorchamps in 1992.

Other standout results of Global Icons: Europe Online include a 1971 Lamborghini Miura P400 S selling for €1.716.000 and a new European auction record for the Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale at €561.000.
Global Icons: UK Online delivered its own strong results, with a true icon of youngtimer performance, a 2001 Ferrari Barchetta Pininfarina, achieving €387.100.
The momentum continued as Global Icons: Memorabilia Online closed on 1 February, with many lots receiving spirited bidding in their final minutes. Items associated with renowned Brazilian Formula One driver Ayrton Senna stood out in particular, with a replica of the Bell helmet from his 1988 season with McLaren emerging as the top lot, selling for €55.625.
