Wheels In Emotion: The Ferrari Amalfi Spider

The new Ferrari Amalfi Spider delivers the rich pleasures that only open-air driving can offer, alongside sports car thrills, 2+ versatility and refined elegance.

Wheels In Emotion: The Ferrari Amalfi Spider

Having launched the Ferrari Amalfi in 2025, now is the moment for the Maranello marque to unveil the new Ferrari Amalfi Spider with soft-top. The convertible version of Ferrari’s mid-front-engined V8 2+ is designed to deliver very special emotions: a perfect synthesis of sportiness, everyday versatility and refined elegance.

The Ferrari Amalfi Spider preserves the elegant proportions and graceful shape of the Amalfi, with a silhouette that’s fluid and resolved, whether the roof is up or down. It looks especially elegant in Rosso Tramonto, an exclusive new red with warm orange hues that evoke the summery light of a setting sun.

It takes just 13.5 seconds to open the fabric roof at the press of a button, something you can do at speeds up to 60 km/h. To maintain refinement, a wind deflector is cleverly integrated into the rear seat backrests, which can be deployed without having to stop.

Ferrari offers a choice of four tailored fabric roof colours, as well as two sophisticated technical fabrics, including brand-new Tecnico Ottanio. The advanced acoustic fabric is made up of five layers of varying thicknesses, so that soundproofing and heat insulation match those of a retractable hard-top. The folded roof is very compact at just 220 mm thick, allowing for a class-leading boot capacity of 255 litres.

Ferrari’s signature dual cockpit design separates the driver and front passenger. The central tunnel is a suspended piece of pure sculpture, milled from a single block of anodised aluminium. The 10.25-inch central touchscreen can be operated by both driver and passenger, and the steering wheel features physical buttons and an aluminium start button, matched by a sculpted aluminium Manettino.

The active rear spoiler is a highly advanced aerodynamic aid. At rest, it sits perfectly flush with the body to preserve design purity, but at speed, it can raise to medium or high downforce positions, the latter generating up to 110 kg of extra downforce at 250 km/h, with only a very small increase in drag – less than 4%.

Under the bonnet is the celebrated Ferrari F154 V8 twin-turbocharged engine with 640 cv. In combination with the eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox, the Ferrari Amalfi Spider is capable of sprinting from zero to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds, to 200 km/h in 9.4 seconds, and on to a top speed of 320 km/h. Another innovation for the Ferrari Amalfi Spider is brake-by-wire, which provides more precise control, plus ABS Evo, which sharpens braking performance and stability.

The Ferrari Amalfi Spider combines so much in one package: dynamic, elegant design; potent performance with refinement and comfort; versatile two-plus cabin; and of course, the easy-to-deploy open roof that gives you such unique emotions. It’s the perfect combination of performance, ease of driving, elegance and pure fun.
