Peter Auto is delighted to announce that the next edition of Tour Auto will take place from Sunday, May 3rd to Saturday, May 9th, 2026 — a set of exceptional dates, chosen to mark a highly anticipated return to a venue rich in heritage and symbolism.
This 35th edition will open with a particularly meaningful moment: Tour Auto at the Grand Palais in Paris, an iconic and historic location cherished by both participants and partners alike.
In order to preserve this prestigious starting point, the event’s schedule has been aligned with that of the Grand Palais, resulting in a slightly later calendar than usual.
The rally itself will run from Tuesday, May 5th to Saturday, May 9th, with the traditional closing brunch and awards ceremony taking place on Sunday, May 10th.
Following several years of absence, this emblematic setting will once again host the car exhibition on the eve of the rally, along with technical and administrative checks — a key and much-anticipated moment that will mark the official start of this new chapter.
Over five days, participants will traverse some of the most scenic and thrilling roads in France, featuring circuit races, closed-road special stages, liaison sections, and the unmistakable camaraderie that defines the Tour Auto spirit. Details regarding the route, host cities, and participating circuits will be revealed in due course.
As a reminder, Tour Auto is open to cars that originally competed in the event between 1951 and 1973, with exceptions permitted up to 1984, provided the model meets Peter Auto’s historical eligibility criteria.
All enthusiasts are warmly encouraged to save the date — May 3rd to 9th, 2026 — for what promises to be a landmark edition of Tour Auto.
Further information will be shared very soon.
