Monterey Car Week provides an absurd amount of avenues to see some of the most exciting and expensive cars in existence. (Truly, the list of activities is exhaustive; we shared pretty much everything you can do this week on the peninsula here.) Among them, The Quail is toward the top in terms of exclusivity.
Officially called “The Quail, A Motorsport Gathering,” this is nonetheless an event that covers more bases than just motorsports. New cars, typically from the most revered marques in the world, are revealed here. Concepts paint a picture of what our automotive world might become. And of course, vehicles that have earned their (sometimes literal) stripes either at the track or due to their historical significance are shown off on the lawns.
From a new Cadillac concept to F1 race cars and rally royalty to the latest hypercars, this year’s show did not disappoint. Our man Alex Sobran was on the ground for it all, snapping away.
