In recent years, Morgan sports cars have taken many forms — from Dakar-inspired overlanders to elegant barchettas and thoroughbred sports cars. Each one lightweight, coachbuilt and, central to this story, many have been powered by a BMW engine.
The latest film explores the story of Morgan and BMW’s 25-year partnership, bringing together some of the most significant BMW-powered Morgans, alongside voices from those who helped establish and sustain the relationship from its earliest days to today.
The Aero 8 was the first Morgan to use BMW power, launched at the Geneva Motor Show in 2000 with the M62 4.4-litre V8. At the other end of the timeline sits Supersport — our latest flagship and the most recent new Morgan to feature a BMW engine — launched this year and powered by the B58 3.0-litre inline-six.

The latest Morgan Plus Four represents the purest expression of the Morgan sports car available today. First launched in 1950 and celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2025, Plus Four is powered by a 2.0-litre BMW inline four-cylinder engine. As of 2025, it is also available in the United States and remains the only current Morgan four-wheeler on sale in the market.
