The record-breaking Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team will be out in force at this summer’s spectacular Silverstone Festival (22–24 August).
Since returning to Formula 1 in 2010, Mercedes has become one of the sport’s most successful teams, securing eight consecutive Constructors’ Championships and seven consecutive Drivers’ titles. Six of these were famously won by Lewis Hamilton, with the seventh claimed by Nico Rosberg.
Celebrating those triumphs, Hamilton’s all-conquering 2020 Mercedes-AMG F1 W11 EQ Power+ (photo above) and Rosberg’s 2016 title-winning Mercedes-AMG F1 W07 Hybrid (photo top below) will both feature in the unmissable World Champions Collection at the Festival this summer.
Commemorating 75 years of the Formula 1 World Championship at the circuit where it all began, this special, one-off display will include F1 cars driven by all 34 World Champions to date. Both Hamilton and Rosberg will be represented with their iconic title-winning machines.
An even broader showcase of recent Mercedes F1 history will be on display in the Fan Zone. Spanning the team’s current 15-year campaign at the forefront of the sport, cars that represent four of its drivers will be presented to the public.
The display begins with Michael Schumacher’s 2010 Mercedes MGP W01 and concludes with a 2025 Mercedes W16 E Performance, as raced by George Russell in this season’s championship. Completing the timeline are Hamilton’s 2017 title-winning W08 EQ Power+ and Valtteri Bottas’ race-winning W09 EQ Power+ from 2018.
The Team are also bringing an incredible immersive pit-stop challenge experience, featuring expert guidance from Mercedes team members and an actual F1 car. Available on a first-come, first-served basis for teams of six, it will run throughout all three days of the Festival, over the Bank Holiday weekend.
“The Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team has always been a fantastic supporter of Silverstone Festival, and their extended involvement this year in support of The World Champions Collection as well as the Fan Zone will add even more excitement to the milestone celebrations” said Nick Wigley, Event Director.
As both a constructor and engine supplier, Mercedes has enjoyed unparalleled success at Silverstone – most recently powering Lando Norris to victory in the 2025 British Grand Prix.
“Given our proximity to Silverstone, with our factories at Brackley and Brixworth just a stone’s throw away, it is always a great pleasure to support the Festival – especially in this landmark year celebrating the 75th anniversary of F1,” said Bradley Lord, Team Representative of the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team. “We hope the many fans in attendance enjoy seeing our legacy up close as part of The World Champions Collection and further representation in the Fan Zone. It really is a fantastic opportunity to get up close to everything that our team stands for and we couldn’t be more pleased to support this superb event.”
This summer’s Silverstone Festival does not clash with a Grand Prix, giving F1 fans the perfect opportunity to immerse themselves in the sport’s heritage at the home of British motorsport. Entry to both The World Champions Collection and Fan Zone is included with admission, as is access to the award-winning Silverstone Museum, which is also celebrating the circuit’s unique F1 legacy.
A wide range of ticket options – including camping and hospitality packages –are available, with the best prices for those who book in advance.
Held over the end-of-summer Bank Holiday weekend, the Festival promises fun for all ages. Children aged 15 and under go free, and all tickets include access to a spectacular line-up of family-friendly entertainment. Highlights include live performances from Natasha Bedingfield, Craig David presents TS5, and Ministry of Sound Classical in 2025, plus classic funfair rides, stunt shows, and much more.
