RM Sotheby’s Pop-Up Miami Auction Results

Building on its calendar of annual sales, RM Sotheby’s hosted a one-night-only destination event for car collectors in Miami this past Saturday. On the top floor of an architectural icon, 1111 Lincoln Road, a mix of desirable supercars and hypercars were offered.

  • Drawing inspiration from the energy of Miami nightlife and the striking backdrop of the architecturally significant venue at 1111 Lincoln Road, the RM Sotheby’s team created a new destination auction event
  • There is a new world-record price for a Ferrari F50 sold at auction. The Miami event saw the sale of one of the best examples of Maranello’s mid-1990s hypercar, with two previous owners and showing only 625 miles
  • The “Youngtimer” sports car segment is becoming a staple in the market, with Mercedes-Benz, BMW Alpina, and Porsche cars selling over high estimates
  • Supercars and hypercars score the top results; the auction’s top five sales include a Bugatti Chiron Sport, a Ferrari F40, a Ferrari Enzo, and a Porsche 959SC Reimagined by Canepa

Highlights

  • Many models sold for record prices, led by the sale’s top lot, a 1995 Ferrari F50, which brought $5,395,000
  • A 2,188-mile 2019 Bugatti Chiron Sport clad in a carbon fiber black-over-red color scheme sold for $3,305,000

  • A 1973 Ferrari 365 GTS/4 Daytona Spider by Scaglietti sold for $2,205,000
