Max Verstappen’s Title Winning Oracle Red Bull RB18 At Silverstone Festival

Oracle Red Bull Racing has been a dominant force in modern Formula 1, winning six Constructors’ and eight Drivers’ Championships since 2010 – equally split between Vettel and Verstappen.

The record-breaking accomplishments of both champions will be prominently featured in the spectacular World Champions Collection display at next month’s Silverstone Festival (24–26 August), thanks to the support of Oracle Red Bull Racing.

This landmark exhibition, marking the 75th anniversary of the Formula 1 World Championship at the very circuit where it all began, will showcase an F1 car as driven by each of the 34 World Champions that have claimed the coveted title. It will be the largest and most comprehensive display of its kind ever assembled.

As the current title-holder, Verstappen’s striking RB18 (photo above and below bottom row) will be positioned at one end of the display, with the legendary Alfa Romeo 158 – raced by inaugural winner, Giuseppe ‘Nino’ Farina – at the other. Farina not only won the first World Championship in 1950 but also triumphed at Silverstone in the first ever F1 race that year.

With four world titles already to his name, Verstappen is now chasing the records set by the three drivers who have surpassed his championship wins: seven-time champions Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton, and five-time titleholder Juan Manuel Fangio.

Vettel, whose four consecutive championships spanned a dominant period between 2010 to 2013, will be represented by the double-championship winning RB8 (photos top three below), displayed alongside Jenson Button’s iconic Brawn-Mercedes BGP 001 from his 2009 title-winning season.

“Sebastian Vettel and Max Verstappen are two of the sport’s greatest champions, and we are thrilled that Oracle Red Bull Racing has ensured their standout successes are honoured with representation of their title-winning cars in what promises to be a spectacular World Champions Collection,” said Nick Wigley, Event Director. “As well as celebrating 75 years of global champions, this breath-taking exhibit will trace the evolution of F1 – from front-engined icons to today’s cutting-edge hybrid machines, exemplified by Verstappen’s RB18.”

“Silverstone has a very special place in F1 history and it’s also our local circuit where the Team have enjoyed many memorable victories over the past two decades,” said Nick Kenton, Director of Hospitality. “We are immensely proud of our two world champions, who both have multiple titles to their name, and delighted that they will be so well represented in this outstanding World Champions Collection marking 75 years of F1 at Silverstone Festival.”
