Along with the three annual meetings at Goodwood there is one other unmissable event – the bi annual Le Mans Classic. Having attended all bar one of the events since 2006 it provides an unbeatable opportunity to watch and photograph cars racing through the night.
With only their own lights providing illumination for the vast majority of the circuit it provides challenges for drivers, their teams and photographers. Overcoming those challenges is a test of skill for all parties involved. For photographers it can result in unique images in the hours from just before dusk to just after dawn. They more than compensate for the inevitable tiredness that results.
