Discover the legacy of Bugatti Type 59 Grand Prix cars in this three-volume masterpiece, featuring unseen period pictures and contemporary photographs, factory drawings and special CAD illustrations that capture the development, prewar racing seasons, and histories of all surviving Type 59 sport cars. Written by a team of Bugatti experts, headed by Julius Kruta.
The book will be revealed at Rétromobile 2025 in Paris and is available for pre-orders now.
The three Type 59 books are presented in a sleeve designed by Marc Newson. The aluminium slipcases, milled from solid blocks under personal supervision by Marc Newson, are limited to 59 and engraved with signature and individual number. The 920-page work divided into three books, printed and bound in five colors as a large-format hardcover in Germany, is the first and only oeuvre on the Type 59.
