Morgan sports cars are, and always have been, built to be used. And use them you do. We’re fortunate to receive photographs and video footage from owners all over the world — proof of the adventures, the miles, and the memories created along the way.
When one such email arrived in mid-2024, it immediately stood out. It was from Sophie, the daughter of Jean-Pierre Rivals, sharing a collection of remarkable photographs, video clips, and documents belonging to her father. Jean-Pierre was a French Morgan owner who, alongside three friends and their Morgan 4/4s, drove around the world in 1994.
The images were captivating: adventure-ready Morgans captured in some of the most remote and extraordinary locations imaginable. Sophie’s message was simple. Her father had since passed away, and she wanted to keep the story alive.
‘Around the World in 90 Days’ tells the extraordinary true story of four members of the Mousquetaire Morgan Club — Jean Ribot, Jean-Louis Clavere, Jean-Jacques Lascombes and Jean-Pierre Rivals — who, tired of simple drives to the familiar local sites, set a challenge to be more adventurous and live up to Les Mousquetaire’s legend. The film brings together archive footage and recent interviews to celebrate their shared spirit of adventure.
