From the prewar titans to the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing, each decade has produced its own benchmark in road-car performance. The Miura set the tone in the 1960s, the Countach defined the 1970s with unapologetic excess, the F40 reclaimed Ferrari’s throne in the 1980s, and the McLaren F1 closed the century as the era’s last word in performance.

The Veyron assumed this role for the 2000s, its figures—over 1,000 PS and 407 km/h top speed—resetting what seemed achievable on public roads. When the Chiron debuted at Geneva in 2016, it was not a clean-sheet revolution but rather an evolution. Named for Louis Chiron, the prewar Bugatti racing driver, it refined the Veyron’s foundation while pushing every parameter further: 1,500 PS from its 8.0-liter W16, zero-to-100 km/h in 2.3 seconds, and a 420 km/h top speed that required a dedicated Speed Key.

Limited to 500 examples, each personalized at Molsheim, the Chiron occupied that same mantle as its predecessors as a true modern classic. In an age of increasing electrification and regulatory constraints, the Chiron may well be remembered as the ultimate expression of the internal combustion supercar, a fitting successor to the automotive icons that defined the decades before it.

Completed as a U.S.-market example and configured to a timeless specification, this 2018 Bugatti Chiron was finished in striking Nocturne black with the marque’s “Signature Line” and brake calipers rendered in vibrant Italian Red. The iconic “horseshoe” grille surround and rear wing underside were rendered in Nocturne black, as were the striking Caractere wheels—themselves a €50.000 option before the additional €7.500 Nocturne paint treatment. Neatly complementing these Nocturne touches is a visible carbon fiber engine cover, rounding out the exterior options for an additional €15.000. Inside, the cabin features comfort seats swathed in Beluga Black leather with Italian Red contrast stitching to match the striking exterior specification. Factory documentation records that the Chiron was initially delivered to the United States on 18 September 2017, making it one of the earliest Chiron deliveries worldwide. Its accompanying CARFAX Vehicle History Report shows that the car remained with Bugatti Beverly Hills in California showing just 300 delivery miles in October 2017, before being purchased and exported by its current Swiss owner in 2018.

The car’s current Swiss registration shows a first registration date in the country of 1 June 2018, followed by a service on 31 July by Bugatti Zurich to homologate the Chiron for Swiss roads. The work comprised fitting a km/h instrument cluster, installing a Europe navigation SD card, and reprogramming the speedometer and navigation. The remainder of the car’s service log is methodical, recording the following timely services: January 2019 at 6,745 km, December 2019 at 13,349 km, November 2020 at 15,548 km, September 2021 at 19,446 km, September 2022 at 27,522 km, September 2023 at 27,550 km, September 2024 at 27,575 km, and August 2025 at 30,290 km. The tires were renewed in February 2021 at 24,986 km, with DOT-coded 10/20 fronts and 27/20 rears noted.

Together, these entries portray a car maintained on-time and on-mileage exclusively by Bugatti Zurich, with fewer than 31,000 km recorded at the time of cataloging, making it an excellent choice for the enthusiast seeking a truly usable Chiron. Notwithstanding the mileage, the presentation is exceptional. The interior remains virtually as-new with minimal evidence of use, and the exterior benefits from full-body paint protection film, leaving the bodywork largely free of stone chips. Furthermore, the factory extended warranty commenced on 1 October 2022 and remains in effect through 30 September 2026, providing valuable coverage for the next caretaker.

Chassis 795069’s combination of single-owner status, discreet specification, current Swiss registration, active factory warranty, and a complete eight-stamp service history offers the reassuring provenance sought by knowledgeable collectors. In keeping with a decade-defining Bugatti flagship, it presents as a carefully used, properly maintained example of the supercar that defined the 2010s—ready to deliver the singular experience that only a Chiron can provide.
