Gallery Aaldering

Gallery Aaldering is offering this amazing Aston Martin DB5 for sale. Factory left hand drive. Air conditioning. ZF 5-speed transmission. 1 3

The Aston Martin is an American issue. This car is therefore a factory supplied left hand drive. Since 2007 it has been owned by the same owner who mainly kept the car in his collection. This Aston Martin has already been subjected to a full nut & bolt and is still in superb condition. The restoration was meticulously carried out and the car’s documentation shows this DB5 has only ever had four owners.

The bodywork is mad according to Carrozzeria Touring’s Superleggera principle and looks perfect. The nice and thin panelwork is correctly aligned. The chassis is also in very good state and naturally fully rust-free. The chrome wire wheels and brightwork are also in fine fettle. One cannot mention Aston Martin DB5 without referring to the man who brought fame to the car: James Bond. This Aston Martin is even more so in this case as it has the James Bond characteristic Silver Birch finish. The quality of the paintwork is very good with only minor sign of use.

The interior has been completely reupholstered. The workmanship was of an extremely high level making the interior a proper feast for the eye. The carpets fit properly and clearly have not have had much to suffer over the years. The seat leather and dashboard is in very good condition. The wooden inlayed dashboard and wooden 3-spoke steering wheel are quite original and the wonderful Smith’s gauges work exactly as they should. Another feature worth a mention is the factory-fitted air conditioning.

The engine is the extremely supple and powerful 4.0 litre straight-six attached to a manual 5-speed ZF gearbox. The engine has three SU carburettors giving the engine a maximal thrust of 282 Ps at 5,500 RPM. The DB5 also has disc brakes, electric windows and an oil pressure gauge.

Furthermore the DB5 comes nicely documented with a copy of the original guarantee certificate, a photo series , a copy of the original sales receipt and a copy of the original title deed.

In other words this is a splendidly presented Aston Martin DB5 in the mist alluring colour scheme. Bound to leave you shaken!

Gallery Aaldering is a family owned business since 1975. Founder Nico Aaldering and his son Nick are responsible for operational and executive management. The company has been in Brummen since 1987 and started on the location where they currently have their second workshop and detailing shop. Nico started very small, with only three employees. People who still work for the company today. The company grew rapidly and established a name for itself based on quality. In the nineties it was time for expansions after many years of selling Alfa Romeo, then Italian cars later on followed by British cars as well. At the end of 2000 Gallery Aaldering moved to the current premises at the Arnhemsestraat in Brummen. This showroom was build according to Nico's idea and sketches and has a Neoclassical style to match the classic cars inside. During this time Nick entered the company after finishing his studies and working for different automotive companies. Gallery Aaldering expanded and gained momentum with the decades of experience offered by Nico and the bright new ideas and progressive vision offered by Nick. The collection became more diverse with an important move upwards to higher segments. Gallery Aaldering has grown to become one of the largest classic car dealers in Europe. There are about 350 classic cars on display on four floors with a Grand Café and special rooms for business meetings. As a family owned business Gallery Aaldering is proud of its history and traditions, but the future is just as important. At the heart of this all is the passion for classic automobiles.
