Last weekend ULTRACE a well-known new format for car events celebrated its first show in Germany. In the Böhler-Werke, a former industrial site in Meerbusch, close to Düsseldorf, ULTRACE presented classic and actual cars in a brand-new format.

The location and the cars fit well and created a great atmosphere which attracted, especially the younger audience. The weather played along and the food court outside was very crowed. A very international audience shared stories in the Biergarten between trade fair halls. With approx. 20.000 visitors, the event was sold out. The battle for attention between ultra tuned new cars, concept cars and old stars, especially racing legends was fascinating to watch. The program did include test runs of race engines which always led to big crowds of social media representatives. Star of the weekend was Sung Kang, famous actor in the “Fast and Furious” movies, who presented his new movie: “Drifters”.

As a conclusion: The young generation is car enthusiastic as we were in our young days. Cars represents freedom, lifestyle and image. Cars will continue to play an important role in human mobilty. Public transportation and individual traffic shall live together in harmony and not in fight.

The organizers of other car events can learn a lot from ULTRACE. The presentation and the program needs to attract young people and especially females. That is the future. And it seems to be a good one. As its looks right now, ULTRACE will return to Düsseldorf/Meerbusch next year. We look forward to it. For the real enthusiasts ULTRACE will participate in the CLASSIC DAYS 2026 Grand Meeting at Rittergut Birkenhof July 31.-August 2th, 2026.
