classic car events can be categorized into five areas:

  1. local/regional events like swap meets , parts and club stands, local rallies and special themed events
  2. National events like concours, race meetings, big rallies and hill climbs and huge indoor shows
  3. national and international Auctions
  4. International Top Meetings. These classic car events are a good opportunity to see different car models , share expert opinions, look for missing parts for own collectors cars and judge on the value perspective of classic cars. Very often classic car events and rallies take place at jaw-dropping locations, so visitors can add the visual spectacle to the mentioned reasons of visiting an event.
  • Retromobile Paris – a whole world of classic vehicles: 72.000 m2 of exhibition spread over three big halls, more than 600 exhibitors with more than 1000 collectors cars and over 100 clubs. This International show marks the start of the classic car season every year and tackles all aspects of classic vehicles- everything from insurance, maintenance , restoration , auctions, and rare historic sports-and racing cars.
  • Grand Prix de Monaco Historique – this magnificent event takes place every other year. Whats a better place for historic race cars than the iconic streets of Monte Carlo. Especially the grids with former F1 cars are the best in the world.
  • Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance – a world famous event with hundreds of rare classic cars and celebrities.
  • Goodwood Festival Of Speed – many supercar launches , tech showcases, a famous hillclimb and other fun are part of this famous historic festival on the grounds of the Goodwood Estate
  • Mille Miglia – the yearly revival of the traditional race of the Red Arrow , which took place from 1927 to 1957. Nearly 400 rare race cars will be admitted and they compete on a spectacular route from Brescia to Rome.
  • Le Mans Classic – every other year a retrospective of one of the most mythical races in the world and the largest European car club gathering takes place. With more than 10.000 classic cars and more than 250.000 visitors its the place to be every other year.
  • Silverstone Classic – one of the biggest classic car- focused events on the calendar at the home of the British GP for 3 days. World Class track action is combined with a huge number of clubs and trade stands and a lot of fun for the families.
  • Monterey /Pebble Beach Car Week – the worlds premier classic car festival takes place over nearly 2 weeks in several sun-kissed locations around the town of Monterey/California. A series of classic car auctions, various concours and exhibitions and the peak with the Pebble Beach Concours D’Elegance.
  • Goodwood Revival – the highlight of the classic car year, for historic racing enthusiasts at least. Everyone is dressed in period clothing and you have the most wonderful days of racing on the famous Goodwood Circuit.
  • Concorso Villa D’este – this is the counterpart to Pebble Beach – the most famous festival at the breathtaking shores of Italy’s Lake Como, established already in 1929.
  • London To Brighton Veteran Car Run – the worlds oldest classic motoring event with 500 pre-1905 vehicles – a must for the antique and vintage car lovers.
