The Summer HK Rally, organized by HK-ENGINEERING, took place from July 9 to 12. They had exclusively reserved the Blaue Burg Falkenstein boutique hotel in Pfronten for the participants. Its stunning location in the heart of the Allgäu mountains provided the perfect starting point for an extended rally weekend.
On the day of arrival, participants could choose between traveling on their own or meeting up at HK-ENGINEERING in Polling/Bavaria. From there, the convoy drove through the impressive pre-Alpine landscape to Pfronten, where, after check-in, a group aperitif and the first dinner marked the successful start of the rally.
On the second day, the “Allgäu Tour” was on the agenda. The route took participants along varied roads to the historic Mindelburg Castle. During an interesting guided tour, the participants gained fascinating insights into the history of the castle and the town of Mindelheim. Afterward, everyone headed to the Weberhaus restaurant for lunch together before the rally led them back to Pfronten along winding roads.
The third day of the rally was themed “Mountains & Valleys” and took the participants along winding mountain passes and through impressive Alpine landscapes all the way to Austria. After lunch together at the Panoramahotel Alpenstern, the route led back to Pfronten. The summer rally came to a successful close that evening with a festive gala dinner at the hotel, where everyone reminisced about the experiences of the past few days in a convivial atmosphere.
Most of the rally participants drove to Polling on Sunday morning for the yearly HK Day – a wonderful open-house opportunity and public day for many HK-Engineering enthusiasts.
